Tomb Raider News: Week 44
Paris Games week bought new titles and exciting new trailers including Naughty Dog's upcoming The Last of Us 2. However Tomb Raider fans were left disappointed with no information on a potential new game.
-Inktober came to an end with a successful collaboration of artists from all over the world. Given a prompt a day people had to draw their rendition of the word. Crystal Dynamics asked fans to tag them in their Tomb Raider inspired drawings. You can check out this year's drawings here.
-Tomb Raider 2 celebrated it's 21st anniversary. The sequel to Lara's adventures sees our heroine seeking the dagger of Xian.
Any ancient artefact that is said to believe once stabbed into a person's heart they will take the form of a Dragon.

Last year a fan made remake was created on unreal Engine by Nicobass. The game is so far a demo of the first level shot for shot, with new features such as travelling across the great Wall of China. Which was unfeasible during the time of the production in the 90's.
-A comical adaptation of Micheal Jackson's Thriller was uploaded on Halloween. The 3-minute video by Zellphie features Lara and fellow characters from Tomb Raider 3 doing the iconic dance.
-Both Crystal Dynamic's and fellow Tomb Raider fans have together raised over $8000 in aid for sick and hospitalised children for the charity Extra life.
-Ukrainian artist Inna Vjuzhanina has opened her own Store Envy page. She is popularly know for her Tomb Raider work. In honour of her store's grand opening she offered a limited run of 5 special prints.
All signed and numbered, they all sold out within the first day. "Her work is inspired by female characters who combine both grace and gentleness with ruthlessness and strength."
Standard prints are still available on her page. Currently she has just the one print which is a creative adaptation of the first Tomb Raider cover art.

-New preview pages for the newest Tomb Raider dark Horse comic have been uploaded. Survivors Crusade will be out November 22, 2017.
-Filipinos actress Janine Gutierrez dressed as Lara croft for Halloween. A striking resemblance to Angelina Jolie's Lara from the first Tomb Raider movie. With the new movie coming out next year will there be more Lara's next year?
