A message from Crystal Dynamics

It's been confirmed! After over a 3 year wait Tomb Raider fans received the news that a new Tomb raider game is on the horizon earlier than expected. Rumours have been circulating of a new game after a cliff-hanger ending to Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Fans have unveiled a cryptic message within in the announcement that could confirm the next games title.

Awhile back a blurred image leaked online. The faint image shows a power-point slide with a faint orange tinted title card "Shadow of the Tomb Raider".

News broke out that this was the confirmed title of the upcoming game. Crystal Dynamic didn't release any supporting evidence to confirm the rumours. The image was uploaded to Reddit, and unforunately this hasn't been the first time early publisher developments have been leaked.

If the title is true could we see Lara returning to her origins with a homage to the Core designs games? Will she be searching abandoned tombs prior to her disgust in 2013. Or is this in connection with her father's occupation and further plot development to his death?

The way Crystal highlight a major event could be throwing hints towards E3, or even earlier to celebrate the new year.
